Tulip Farm!

This weekend was a massive one! There were so many events that i don't know where to start! I celebrated Mid Autumn Festival by having nice Western dinner with my family (ironically) instead of going for study group. Then we invited some Fungus friends over for supper. My mum made a delicious apple sponge cake which we gobbled down with whipped cream and ice-cream. Qynn, Sonja, Sarah, Jasmine, Keean, Tony, Josh and Franny were the pple that came =) Hope you enjoyed yourselves pple!

I had Chinese school in the morning and i had lunch with Marcus after that at the food court in The Glen. I've always thought the food that was crap, but the beef burrito meal that i had that afternoon was absolutely fantastic! I'm salivating even as i think about it now... aww.. i'll take Harish there next week. After lunch, i headed down to the city for TSFX with Harish while Marcus spent the rest of the day in the library. haha! He's so committed!

I had something to eat with Harish after TSFX, and then i bought a strawberry cheesecake from Michel's for Sarah and Keean's birthdays. Then i went to the top level of MC to chill for an hour and a half before meeting up with the Fungus pple, who drove down from church, for JUMPSTART! Boo yah! I was walking around with the cake and all, and we were trying to hide it from Sarah, but the rest of the gals were quick to spot it and i think the surprise was wrecked even before it became a surprise-.-"

Jumpstart was pretty good. I was extremely impressed by the Hip Hop and Breakdancing. Some of the manouvres were just incredible and unbelieveable. Some of the KO crew were pretty cocky though, they were showing off their moves even after the music had stopped -.-"""

Anyway, we left at the interval and went to some Azn restaurant for supper. The egg chiffon on rice was an absolute classic! Booyah! ANother awesome meal! Then we "surprised" Sarah and Keean with the birthday cake, which was all melted and all cuz i bought it 5 hours ago -.-" Anyway, we took turns to eat it with a single spoon. LOL! How disgusting is that?!?!? The restaurant owners were getting rather annoyed as we were making a din. x.x""

Well, Sunday was even better. I promised my parents that i'll go to some Tulip farm up in Dandenong last week instead of Fungus, and i couldn't go back on my word... so i went there not expecting much. Tim, Andrew, Jeremy, Charmaine, Venetia, Valerie, Jerusha, Wesley, Ryan and Caitlin (and their parents) came along too. We had an awesome pinic lunch before heading off for the Tulip farm. The farm had a fantastic ambience, but i wasn't too impressed by the tulips.. sure, they were colourful and beautiful, and the magnitude of tulips made the scene look even more impressive... but something was lacking.. probably the sunshine xD

Venetia, Valerie and Jerusha were sooo mischievious at the Tulip farm -.-" Charmaine was wearing something really thin and it was pouring down rain and she obviously was freezing in the cold.. so i offered her my jacket.. and the gals were like "oooo..." -.-""" Anyway, we had a fun time walking around the farm... looking at the scary figures that hung from the trees... giggling at the female bagpipe player that looked like a man... playing footy and getting my hands dirty with poo (Venetia!!!).. getting our shoes totally muddied... eating those awesome Punskadita (some danish delicacy).. and watching Ryan do hilarious stunts in puddles of water...

Oh, i just finished making Sarah's birthday present today. I reckon it's one of the best gifts i've made.. hmm.. i don't even make such nice gifts for Joce! (sry joce! x.x") Yea, anyway.. i was jotting some lines about love while waiting for the bus... bare in mind that i was jotting these lines down in pencil off the top of my head. it doesn't make much sense... but here goes:

Love stretches out through vast eternity,
Just as words can move a solemn heart.
But love, just as these words are written in pencil,
Can be rubbed out of existence in an instance.
The only thing holding it in place,
The fragile bond between the two,
Is the choice not to.

Check out the photos!
BTW, Venetia and Valerie, you gals are such posers!!!

14 Day Countdown

Exactly 14 more days before my VCE Chinese Oral exam -.-" It sends shivers down my spine whenvever i think about it. Sigh... i'm gonna practice straight after this post. Well, school was pretty good today. Table-tennis was cancelled, so i decided to join the guys for a game of Soccer. Boy, it was scorching hot today; 30 degrees!!!
I found it hard to keep up with the pace, partly because of the after effects of that intense soccer game i had last Sunday. Well, my team managed to win 2-1 thanks to goals from Darryn and some other dude. haha! I think i got much tanner after that soccer game because i was wearing my Yarra muscle top, probably picked up skin cancer in the process too..

Well, these are just some random shots i took with my phone.
That's a hole in the Buchan Caves. I wanna crawl into it and hide in there for eternity.
That's another hole i wouldn't mind climbing in just to get away from all the stress!

Look at how engrossed everyone is! Fun times with the cell!
This is the ultimate hole. Hopefully, the grass will be greener on the other side..

Can you spot the smiley lemonish, beetrootish, salady and creamy face that we *cough* found at Lake's Entrance?

That's Jerusha, whom everyone mysteriously calls Peanut, on the Banjo/Guitar =)

Brat

I just missed my bus after getting off the train at Glen Waverley station this arvo. The sun setting and the air was chilly. I had to wait another 15 minutes for the next bus, and i leaned against the side of a glass panel trying to catch a moment of rest from an exhausting day at school. Well, i was shocked and furious at what happened next. I'll try to describe it, but you'll never understand the hatred that pumped through my veins then.

This really old Asian lady dragging a heavy shopping cart behind were tried as hard as she could to get to the 888 Nunawading bus that was just about to leave. She managed to get to the door, but the bloody driver refused to let her in! BLOODY HELL! He looked at her, put his foot to the peddle slightly, jerking the bus away from her slowly before speeding off -.-" I felt terrible watching her hit the moving bus door in sheer desperation with her little walking stick, and yet i did nothing. I bloody hate myself!

When the bus stopped at the traffic lights about 60 metres away, i was so tempted to jump 2 fences, run up to the bus driver and yank his nuts out. But No. I was too shocked and disgusted at the bus driver's behaviour. What's this world coming to? Is he a bloody racist? Or did his mum abuse him so much that he's petrified of old women?

I've promised myself to act the next time i see such a bloody disgusting act! Trust me, i bloody will.

Back 2 School

I feel as though i'm on the final 100m of a 400m race. It's been a long and hard race, but it all comes down to this. A few birthdays are coming up: Sarah's, Jasmine's, Keean's... then Jerusha's haha! It's pretty darn full on. And i've got my VCE Chinese Oral on my birthday too -.-" Sigh..

The first day of school was alright i guess, apart from the fact that i got a mediocre 72% for my BM trial exam. I'm not too devastated about it, although i really should be.. it just shows that i've got a LONG way to go. Sigh.. i can't blog for too long. Gotta start doing some Chinese and BM every night.

Soccer was extremely tiring yesterday. There were a whole lot of pple that came along. I met this Super League player who was having a kick all by himself before we got to the field, so i had a chat with him and got to know him a lil. His name's Richard. I felt that God was impressing something on me, as though he wanted me to do something with Richard.. So i asked him if he was a Christian, and the answer was a negative one. That was great though! We swapped phone number's and we agreed that we would contact one another whenever we were playing soccer with our friends and whenever we wanted a challenge. haha! How cool's that?

Yea, i climbed a barbed wired fence yesterday. Well, it wasn't intentional. Someone booted the ball over the fence and i sprung up and over on impulse and i only realised that the sharp wires had actually pierced rather deeply into my right palm. So my entire weight was exerted through those sharp points directed into my palms.. when i got back onto the field, my palms started to hurt; there were 3 holes in it.. it reminded me of what Jesus had to bear.. i mean, if three small holes hurt that much... i wonder what would a giant nail feel like.. I don't know if the barbed wire was rusty.. but IF they were.. i stand a chance of getting Tatterness. lol! my mum says that it my be fatalistic.. but i don't care.. God's in full control.

Just wanna say that i was shocked when i heard that Nick was organising Jasmine's birthday party. Sometimes it's really hard for an older person/brother to express his love to a younger one/sister, especially after a really long time.

True freedom lies in the ability to interpret reality as one perceives it, to be able to say “2 + 2 = 4.”
